Junior students attend educational classes and subject lessons according to the general secondary education program. They also participate in extracurricular activities, which include various events, excursions, swimming lessons, choreography classes, and more.

How can I get into an educational shift?

In order to enroll in the Children’s Technology Park, you must pass an entrance exam, which consists of two stages:

  1. The first option includes submitting an online application with a research project attached and/or a diploma from a winner or participant in international, national, or regional educational events (according to the selected field of the additional education program for gifted children and youth in the children’s technology park).
  2. In the second stage, the student will need to complete a test to determine their level of technical, analytical, and spatial thinking. After that, they will have to pass an interview and choose an educational field based on the number of points they have earned.

What kind of project should the student provide?

A junior student must develop and present a research project in their chosen field: for example, if a student plans to study robotics, their project must be related to robotics.

How much time is there before the shift starts?

Selection begins approximately two months before the start of the shift. For example, for the January 2023 shift, recruitment begins on October 31, 2022. Applications are accepted for two weeks.

Where and under what conditions do students live?

During the shift, students live in a block-type Technodom. Each block has two rooms for two people, a toilet, and a shower.

The dining room offers five meals a day. There is a laundry room on each floor.

The Technodom has a gym, a sports hall, board games, study rooms, a rhetoric hall, an exhibition hall, and an auditorium, all designed for a productive leisure time.

Are parents allowed to visit students?

Parents are only allowed on the Tech House grounds on the day of check-in and check-out. We don’t have a Parents’ Day. Here’s why:

  1. Holding parent-teacher meetings puts children in an unequal position. Some children may have their parents with them, while others may not. Students who do not have their parents with them may feel anxious about this. This is the main reason why parent-teacher meetings are not held.
  2. The epidemiological situation. Even if you are completely healthy, a parent with a cold or something worse may visit another child. As a result of one contact, an entire group of students may become ill.
  3. It should be noted that the student is only visiting for 24 days, and they can be reached via mobile phone, social media, email, or Skype if necessary.

We hope for your understanding, as this decision is solely motivated by concern for the students and their health.

Is it allowed to pick up a child or leave the Children’s Technology Park for a while?

Due to the intensive training schedule that covers the entire period of stay at the Children’s Technology Park, juniors are not allowed to participate in certain events or parts of the educational program. This includes the exclusion of students’ arrivals and departures during the program.

What time should I arrive, and what documents do I need to provide when registering students for the day of arrival?
