The Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board of the National Children’s Technology Park is a permanent collegial body that determines the future directions of development for the National Children’s Technology Park (hereinafter referred to as the Children’s Technology Park) and develops coordinated actions aimed at ensuring compliance with the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 145 of April 12, 2019, and the Code of Education of the Republic of Belarus.

Tasks

The tasks of the Supervisory Board of the Children’s Technology Park are as follows:

  • identifying promising areas for the development of the Children’s Technology Park;
  • assisting the Children’s Technology Park in implementing the educational program for additional education of gifted children and youth;
  • assisting the Children’s Technology Park in improving its activities;
  • conducting a comprehensive analysis of the Children’s Technology Park’s activities;
  • ensuring cooperation between government agencies and other organizations in the areas of the Children’s Technology Park’s activities.

Functions

Observation Council of the children’s technopark for the purpose of implementing tasks assigned to it:

  • approves development programs of the children’s technopark;
  • agrees on the directions along which the educational program of additional education for gifted children and youth is implemented, and projects of reports on the results of the children’s technopark’s activities;
  • considers issues concerning updating and developing the material and technical base of the children’s technopark;
  • submits proposals to the Ministry of Education regarding improvement of the children’s technopark’s structure, its reorganization or liquidation;
  • submits proposals to the Ministry of Education regarding improvement of the children’s technopark’s activities;
  • issues recommendations from the observation council to individuals who have mastered the content of the educational program of additional education for gifted children and youth, upon admission without entrance exams to a lyceum, higher education institution for mastering the content of the secondary education curriculum with study of individual subjects or modules at an advanced level within the framework of organizing profile training, obtaining general higher and specialized higher education based on criteria and procedures established by the Ministry of Education;
  • performs other functions related to the development of the children’s technopark.
